O olhar caía sobretudo sobre a opressão patriarcal numa relação heterossexual e nas consequências para ambas as partes. Mónica Calle e Pony Express são as minhas maiores influências, não só dada a temática dos seus projectos mas na construção de um ambiente íntimo e no romper da quarta parede de forma avassaladora. Desde o toque ao convite. E apesar de não nos dirigirmos ao público através do toque físico, convidamo-lo a gerar as suas questões e a fazer parte do nosso universo intimista. Não tinha, nem tenho, a pretensão de dar respostas ou soluções. Acredito que o teatro pode ser um veículo para criar perguntas e que são estas que nos levam à evolução, à tentativa e erro, às grandes conquistas.

Assim sendo, quanto mais mergulhei no universo da sexualidade, mais perguntas surgiam – minhas e de outros.

Our focus was mainly on the patriarchal oppression in a heterosexual relationship and on the consequences for both parties involved. Mónica Calle and Pony Express are my biggest influences, not only given the subject matter of their projects, but also in the construction of an intimate atmosphere and in breaking the fourth wall in such overwhelming fashion. From their touch to their invitation. And although we don not dress the audience through physical touch, we invite them to generate their own questions and be part of our intimate universe. I didn’t have, nor do I now, the intention of giving answers or solutions. I believe that theatre can be a vehicle for creating questions and that these are what lead us to evolving, to trial and erros, to great achievements. Therefore, the more I delved into the universe of sexuality, the more questions arose – mine and others.
