Interessa-me levar à cena textos que nunca foram testados anteriormente, e ao longo dos anos as minhas principais linhas de actuação artística prendem-se com a encenação de textos originais, lançando o desafio a autores da língua portuguesa a arriscarem a escrita dramatúrgica, assim fomentando a escrita para palco na língua de Camões. Na sequência deste percurso, durante o período 2008-2015 em que exerci as funções de Directora Artística do Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery, realizámos duas edições do Cena contemporânea de Matosinhos em Português, uma mostra de teatro contemporâneo e artes performativas exclusiva a textos dramatúrgicos de língua portuguesa. Desde então a minha relação com o Brasil foi crescendo, e com isso, a possibilidade de aproximação ao espaço artístico lusófono na partilha de conhecimentos e descobertas de outras formas do fazer teatral.

I am interested in bringing to the scene scripts that have never been staged before, and over the years my main lines of artistic action are related to the staging of original pieces, challenging Portuguese authors to risk dramaturgical writing, and promoting writing for stage in the language of Camões. Following this path, between 2008 and 2015 in which I worked as the Artistic Director of Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos Constantino Nery, we held two editions of Cena Contemporânea de Matosinhos in Portuguese, an exhibition of contemporary theatre and performing arts exclusive to dramaturgical pieces written in Portuguese. Since then, my relationship with Brazil has grown, and with that, the possibility of sharing knowledge and discoveries of other forms of theatrical work.
