REVELA-ME

Nas primeiras improvisações explorámos o centro e a periferia na relação entre os intérpretes na cena e o público. O tempo demorado em que nada acontece. Do vazio enquanto estado surgiram muitas situações que foram trabalhadas como um puzzle que se completa. Os caixotes que formaram o cenário, diferentes espaços e paredes ou muros surgiram neste processo de improvisação. A construção de uma ficção fragmentada acentuou-se com a manipulação dos caixotes, como se estes fossem corpos e ruínas de pessoas. A banalidade que muitas vezes todos somos ocupava intencionalmente o centro da cena, assim como a intimidade, o que não é suposto ser dito. O último ensaio desta primeira residência foi uma sessão fotográfica e de improvisação, em que se revisitaram todos os momentos até então construídos e explorados, que resultaram no alinhamento a partir do qual o espetáculo se ergueu na fase seguinte.

During the first improvisations, we explored the centre and the periphery in the relationship between performers and the audience. The length of time where nothing happens. Taking into account the void as a state, many situations emerged, which were worked out like a puzzle yet to be completed. The crates that formed the stage, different spaces and walls emerged in this improvisation process. The construction of a fragmented fiction was accentuated with the manipulation of the crates, as if they were ruins and human bodies. The banality which all often are, intentionally took centre stage, as did intimacy, what is not supposed to be said. The last rehearsal of this residency was an improvisation and photographic session, where all the moments constructed and explored until then were revisited, which resulted in the alignment from where the show would be built.
