CAMINHAR É PRECISO

A questão reside, pois, na importância de que se reveste a possibilidade de expressar um olhar pessoal sobre o mundo, de ser possível escolher em vez de ser escolhida, na frase inspiradora e tão justa de Fernanda Lapa. Procuramos o olhar das mulheres sobre si próprias nos processos de autorrepresentação – na poesia, na pintura, no teatro – e sobre o mundo que querem mudar – a organização da sociedade, os paradigmas dominantes sobre género, raça, desigualdade – para que as práticas lideradas pelas mulheres possam remediar um desequilíbrio que persiste e nos penaliza.

The question resides, the importance that revolves around the possibility of expressing a personal view of the world, to be able to choose instead of being chosen, in the inspiring and just words of Fernanda Lapa. We try to find the internal view of women about themselves in auto representational processes – in poetry, painting, theatre – and about the world they want to change – the organisation of society, the dominant paradigms on gender, race, inequality – so the practice leaded by women can heal an unbalance that persists and takes a toll on us.
