Helena, personagem que desempenhei, é uma revolucionária do seu tempo. Irreverente, diz: Não podemos quais homens por amor lutar, ser cortejadas sim, mas não cortejar. Nas palavras de Shakespeare já Helena reconhecia o mundo misógino em que estava inserida mas não o aceitava, mostrando a sua circunstância enquanto mulher e indo em contramão atrás do que desejava (mas não lhe era permitido desejar). Mais tarde, ainda com as Produções Acidentais, tive a oportunidade de integrar a criação colectiva Final Feliz. Aqui, procurámos esquartejar contos de fadas e os estereótipos que estes abarcam. Desfizemos as histórias, encontrando a mulher e o homem algures no centro. Encontrámos a Princesa e o Príncipe e no final, demos com o Caçador e a Bruxa. Bruxa porque tem desejos e porque quer ter voz e quando a encontra, o Caçador ameaçado abate a presa.

In Shakespeare’s words, Helena already recognised the misogynist world in which she was inserted but did not accept it. Showing her condition as a woman and simultaneity going against it, and fighting for what she desired (but was not allowed to desire). Later, with Produções Acidentais, I had the opportunity to join the collective creation Final Feliz. Here, we tried to break the fairy tales and the stereotypes they encompass. We changed the stories, and ended up finding women and men in the center. We also found the Princess and the Prince and in the end, we came across the Hunter and the Witch. Witch because she has desires and because she wants to have a voice and when she finds it, the threatened Hunter kills the prey.
