Enquanto mediadora da leitura, trabalho com o que nos distingue dos bichos: a capacidade de nomear pela palavra e a capacidade de criar. Trabalho com o eterno da escrita e com o efémero da oralidade. Muitas vezes, com a intuição, com o improviso, o que torna cada interação irrepetível. Tenho uma pequena mala de livros que vão circulando de sessão em sessão e que umas vezes são âncora, outras vezes são vela, outras vezes são chave. Uma espécie de biblioteca portátil de onde vão saindo objectos narrativos diversos. Também livros. Sou uma recolectora de histórias de leitura. Guardo um alqueire de histórias de memória e conheço muitas bibliotecas humanas. Gosto de acender o lume e a noite com histórias. Sou muitas vezes uma reparadora de ausências: uma espécie de contadora ou leitora de serviço, em contextos desavindos com a prática leitora, uma espécie de escutadora de aluguer, em contextos de isolamento e solidão. Como as bruxas, tenho o vício das metáforas e da poesia.

As a reading mediator, I work with what distinguishes us from animals: the capacity to nominate by the word and the capacity to create. I work with the eternal of writing and the ephemeral of orality. A lot of the times, with the intuition, with the improvisation, that turns each interaction unrepeatable. I have a small book bag that goes around from show to show and sometimes they are an anchor, sometimes they are the sail and even the key. Like a portable library from where different narrative objects come out. Also books. I am a re-colector of stories. I have a bushel of stories that I know by heart, and I also know a lot of other human libraries. I like to light the fire and the night with stories. A lot of the time I am an absence maker: like an available reader or teller, kind of a rent, a listener, in the context of isolation and solitude. Like the Witches, I have this addiction of metaphor and poetry.
