BRUXA INCENDEIA, NÃO MORRE QUEIMADA

Na peça Macbeth, o lugar da mulher é misturado com o lugar da bruxa. As mulheres são bruxas, que são mulheres e que, por isso, são bruxas. A última profecia que lhe lançam, depois de lhe dizerem que ele será rei, é dizem-lhe que só o conseguirá derrotar “aquele que não for nascido de mulher”. O enigma quer referir-se àquele que tiver nascido de cesariana e não de parto normal, como se isso pudesse também condicionar aquilo em que te tornarás, ou as capacidades que terás. […] Reivindicar a genética de bruxa, interpretar a profecia da cesariana como um super-poder que me permite pegar na espada do Macduff e ser eu a matar tiranos. Usar o espaço de cena, o papel e a caneta como se fosse uma caixa de fósforos e um bidão de gasolina, ou um megafone para contar a história dos esquecidos.

In Macbeth,  the woman’s role is mixed with the role of the witch. Women are witches, that way they are women, and therefore, they are witches. The last prophecy that is dealt to him, after he is told that he is going to be king, is then saying that ´´no man born of a woman can defeat him. The riddle refers to those who were born from a c-section and not natural birth, as if this aspect could condition what you will become, or the capacities that you will have. Revindicating the genetics of the Witch, interpreting the c-section prophecy has a super power that allows me to hold Macduff sword and slay all the tyrants. Using the scenic space, a pen and paper as if it was a match box and a barrel full of petrol, or a megaphone to tell the forgotten tale.
