Desde 2010 que vivo entre o Brasil e Portugal, onde tenho a possibilidade de criar e colaborar com artistas maravilhosos, com quem tenho aprendido com as suas diversidades em projectos desafiantes, de matérias diferentes como o cinema, televisão, performance e teatro. A aprendizagem até então, transcende o lado profissional, e por vezes o atravessamento dessas matérias sensíveis, fizeram-me crescer humanamente. O dever do artista é refletir o seu tempo – inspirada na frase de Nina Simone, que é uma artista fundamental no meu percurso, para mim mais do que uma obrigação e responsabilidade, é também um prazer trazer questões do foro político-social na minha arte.

Since 2010 I live between Brazil and Portugal, where I have the opportunity to create and collaborate with wonderful artists, with whom I have learned a lot from their diversity and their challenging projects, in different subjects such as cinema, television, performance and theatre. The learning journey transcends the professional side, and sometimes the crossing of these sensitive subjects, made me grow humanly. The artist’s duty is to reflect his time – inspired by a quote of Nina Simone, who is a fundamental artist in my journey, for me it’s more than an obligation and responsibility, it is a pleasure to bring social and political issues into my art.
