A utilização da linguagem enquanto ferramenta emancipadora e transformadora; a exploração do ponto onde a história individual e colectiva se cruzam; a forte relação entre arte e vida; o trabalho sobre o sentido histórico; um discurso sobre o mundo a partir de um posicionamento claro; a utilização de um tempo do não entretenimento; o perspectivar o espectador enquanto construtor de sentidos e não como voyeur; o dar a ver em vez de me exibir; a denúncia do sistema capitalista; o trabalho sobre a presença de corpos não virtualizados; a utilização de materiais pobres e comuns; a inclusão de diferentes linguagens; e um trabalho sobre a escrita enquanto ferramenta de inscrição são alguns aspectos que identifico no meu trabalho ao longo destes 30 anos de actividade profissional.

The use of language as an emancipating and transforming tool; the exploration of the point where individual and collective history intersect; the strong relationship between art and life; work on the historical sense; an argument on the world from a clear position; the use of a time for non-entertainment; the envisionment of the spectator as a maker of meanings, and not as a voyeur, to show them something, instead of just exposing myself; the denunciation of a capitalist system; working on the presence of non-virtualised bodies; the use of poor and common materials; the inclusion of different languages; and writing, as an inscription tool, are some of the aspects that I identify in my work over these 30 years of professional activity.
